Apple has announced it will include six skin tones as part of the 300 new emojis due to be added to the iOS later this year.

This move comes almost a year after Apple promised to make the little people on your phone more politically correct, telling MTV Act “there needs to be more diversity in the emoji character set.”

The campaign to make racially diverse emojis gained momentum after singer Miley Cyrus tweeted about the lack of ethnicities on her phone.

To celebrate this big step for the mini phone faces, The New Daily translated the most famous oration promoting racial equality into emojis – Martin Luther King Jnr’s ‘I Have a Dream’ speech.
