The sprawling country home of Nazi propaganda chief Joseph Goebbels’ may have finally found a buyer after being vacant for more than 20 years.

Known as the ‘Haus am Bogensee’, the lakeside residence has 70 rooms and is reportedly valued at around $20 million.

Goebbels received the mansion as a gift from Adolf Hitler during World War Two and it is the only well-known remaining Nazi residence in Germany.

The home, located outside of Berlin, served as a retreat for Goebbels and is the location where he wrote many propaganda speeches and engaged in numerous affairs with German starlets.

After two failed attempts to sell the expensive listing, agents have reportedly found an anonymous buyer, but agents are refusing to share any details.

“We are not disclosing who they are or how much we are asking, because we don’t want to upset prospective buyers,” Marlies Masche of the Berlin Property Fund agency told The Independent on Sunday.

After the war, the massive house was used as headquarters for East Germany’s Communist Party youth movement, but has been completely vacant since 1990.

According to The Telegraph, the home features a banquet hall, a private cinema and an underground bunker.

Goebbels died in 1945 when he and his wife killed their six children and then themselves in a bunker following Hitler’s suicide.
