The upbeat little boy successfully saved a damsel in distress and apprehended his two greatest foes, the Penguin and the Riddler, cruising to the scene of the crime in a sleek black batmobile (a donated Lamborghini).

The Chronicle celebrated Miles’ victory by releasing a special edition of the newspaper with the the headline “Batkid Saves City.”

One of the more notable people to get in on the action? Barack Obama, who praised Batkid’s work via a Youtube video.
