Fairfax reports that the sale was three weeks ahead of the scheduled auction and a great result for the couple, who purchased the property two years ago for $6.25 million.
It’s understood the couple has purchased a renovator’s delight in Maroubra for close to $4 million.

Warner’s had a busy time on and off the pitch. The house sale follows the recent birth of the couple’s second daughter Indi Rae, a sister to their 17-month-old Ivy Mae.

Warner is one of several Australian players who have big contracts in the Indian Premier League.

While 38 Aussies were recently put up for IPL auction, Warner was retained by franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad for $1.14 million.
