All eyes, and cameras, were on Taylor Swift as she stepped out of an Italian restaurant in Sydney’s eastern suburbs on Tuesday night.

The superstar who is playing four sold-out shows at Sydney Olympic Park’s Accor Stadium in just days was accompanied by her opener, Sabrina Carpenter, and personal security.

Fans lined the corner of Campbell Street and Foster Street in Surry Hills, screaming as Swift stepped out of Pellegrino 2000 and the cameras flashed relentlessly.

She did not stop and greet fans on the side of the road, instead she promptly jumped into the car, while Carpenter waved.

The Italian restaurant also happened to be on the list Good Food writers compiled, which suggested where Swift could eat when she was in town.

Taylor Swift’s “receipt”

Peter Deppeler, also known as “intern Pete” from the Kyle and Jackie O Show, claimed on Sunrise this morning that he had Swift and Carpenter’s receipt and they spent $620 on the dinner.

Allegedly, the table left a $300 tip. It was later revealed it was all a prank and the receipt Deppeler had was for Kmart, not Pellegrino 2000.

Swift was only seen on stage in Melbourne when she performed at the MCG and briefly when she was boarding her private jet.

The fanfare that surrounds her is expected at this point. It was the first time she had stepped out into the public during her trip to Australia.

Last year, she attended Jack Antonoff’s wedding to Margaret Qualley in New Jersey.

Antonoff is Swift’s long-time friend and collaborator and her fans ended up swarming the venue in hopes of catching a glimpse of her.

Starting Friday, Swift will play four shows at Accor Stadium.

While the stadium has promised the show will go ahead, rain, hail or shine, with a thunderstorm forecast for the Friday night, some are concerned the show may have to be delayed or postponed.

Accor said the only reason the show would be called off is if the safety of Swift, her fans or staff is compromised.

There has also been speculation that Swift’s partner, Travis Kelce, is planning on joining her in Sydney.

Just hours after she touched down in Sydney, her private jet departed en route to Hawaii, leaving some to speculate it would pick up Kelce.
