The Swedish company announced last week that it would launch a new line of furniture in April capable of charing smartphones simply via contact.

The Home Smart range of tables, desks, lamps, nightstands and more will wirelessly charge devices when placed in contact with them and will launch in North America and Europe on April 15.

Using the Wireless Power Consortium’s Qi technology, compatible phones will be able to charge upon contact with the furniture – no plugs or cords required.

Qi technology is already supported by some HTC devices and Samsung’s new Galaxy S6 phone.
