British tuner Kahn Design has confirmed it will bring an outrageous six-wheeled Land Rover-based concept to the Geneva International Motor Show this March.

Based on the four-wheel drive Defender 110, Kahn’s latest concept is called Project Flying Huntsman and will be a natural rival for Mercedes-Benz’s 6×6 model, the G63 AMG.

In total the Flying Huntsman is 1200mm longer and 150mm wider than the standard Defender.

So far, Kahn Design hasn’t released any performance figures but has said the Flying Huntsman show car is an armoured vehicle.

Kahn will also make a four-wheel version and is considering making a Flying Huntsman-based ute.

The full interior will also be revealed at the show, but Kahn has teased a full-length panoramic sunroof as one of the car’s many features.

Pricing is yet to be announced, but the regular Flying Huntsman 4×4 is rumoured to cost £125,000 before taxes ($A230,000).

This isn’t the first time a six-wheeler model has hit the market, but this model is notable in terms of its size and speed.

According to Kahn, the new Flying Huntsman will be “comfortable outrunning any road-going SUV”.
