My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero cancelled his Sydney concert last night after being caught up in a bus crash in the central city.
He escaped injury but two others had to be taken to hospital.
According to a 9 News report Iero was travelling to Twitter HQ on Park Street for a performance with his band, Frank Iero and the Patience, when a bus crashed into the back of their vehicle before 4pm.
One of the men was airlifted to St Vincent’s Hospital, the other was taken by road. They are both reported to be serious but stable.
The bus was not carrying any passengers at the time and the driver was taken to hospital for mandatory tests.
Hi friends thanks all for the well wishes. we're pretty banged up but miraculously alive& in stable condition. I'm still in a state of shock

In a spooky and perhaps prescient interview with Scenestr.com.au ahead of the tour, Iero was quoted as saying “I feel like everything in Australia is trying to kill you”.
