House Rules host Johanna Griggs has let loose on tabloid magazine Woman’s Day, asking if it had “learned anything” from its infamous court case with Rebel Wilson.

Griggs accused the publisher of “overdramatising” a story about her and her husband Todd Huggins, in an article titled ‘Joh’s miracle: Why my hubby’s the bravest man in the world’.

The controversial piece comes only weeks after Woman’s Day‘s court loss against Wilson – which Griggs was happy to remind it of.

“Oh @womansdayaus Did you not learn anything from @rebelwilson smashing you in court??” Griggs wrote in an Instagram post.

Griggs said she had previously warned the tabloid of “creative writing” and “taking a lot of poetic license” in its articles.

“I see you’ve excelled with your creative writing yet again this week… which as usual is filled with more errors than I thought could be possible,” she said.

The story claimed Griggs had saved her husband’s life with a “sixth sense” to have a growth in his throat treated.

She was keen to set the record straight.

“I didn’t have a 6th sense about anything… nor did I save my husbands life,” Griggs stated.

“The doctors and medical staff who looked after him did. Todd wasn’t rushed off to hospital like you’ve made up in your fantasy world. In fact we booked in to see specialists and doctors and in to the hospital like thousands of other families do every year.”

Griggs pointed out some other glaring errors: her children Jess and Joe are 21 and 20 – not 19 and 20 – and that the photo Woman’s Day used was so old it included her deceased dog.

“In fact pretty much the only thing that is accurate in your article is that Todd did have an operation and for the record he has been doing really well since,” Griggs said.

“And as much as he giggled at your cover line of being called ‘The Bravest Man in the World’ even he thinks that’s a stretch.

“Seriously guys – give it a rest, and stop overdramatising things for us. We are just fine thanks! #fakenews #fantasy#makebelieve #notreality.”

Griggs is not the first to warn the tabloid magazine to stop producing false stories since Wilson successfully sued the publisher.

Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe slammed Woman’s Day last week, after it claimed the 53-year-old was dating actress Sophia Forrest, 22.

Forrest starred in Crowe’s post-World War I film The Water Diviner in 2014.

The article quoted an anonymous source, saying: “[Forrest is] just as crazy about Russell as he is about her. She adores him.”

Crowe responded to the claims in a series of tweets and threatened to sue the publisher, just like Wilson.
