Rupert Murdoch’s ex-wife Wendi Deng is moving on from her 14-year marriage to the media mogul with a man 64 years his junior.

In fact, Hungarian model Bertold Zahoran is actually closer in age to Deng’s 15-year-old daughter Grace than he is to the 48-year-old mother of two.

Deng and 21-year-old Zahoran went public with their relationship this week when they were photographed walking hand-in-hand on a beach in the celebrity vacation spot of St Barts in the West Indies.

According to a loved-up Instagram post by Zahoran, he and Deng spent New Year’s Eve together, joined by Grace and Deng’s other daughter with Murdoch, Chloe, 13.

It is believed Deng, who was last romantically linked to Russian president Vladimir Putin, began dating the New York-based model in May 2016, when they met at Naomi Campbell’s birthday party.

The first sign of a blossoming romance was when the pair attended a Halloween party together in New York in October.

Zahoran posted a photo of himself and a blonde wig-clad Deng to his Instagram page with a love heart as a caption.

The six-foot-two model, who is represented by American agency Soul Artist Management, has appeared in campaigns for Ralph Lauren and modelled for famous photographers like Bruce Weber.

A foodie and a fitness fanatic, Zahoran spends most of his time working on his physique at the gym while travelling around the world for work.

Before jetting off to St Barts with Deng, Zahoran returned home to Bekes, Hungary, to visit his mother and sister, Kitti, posting to Instagram that saying goodbye to his family, “never gets easier”.

However, when he’s back in New York City, Zahoran is close to his new girlfriend, who is partly based out of a three-story Fifth Avenue apartment she kept in her divorce settlement with Murdoch.

This is not the first time Deng has dated a younger man since her and Murdoch’s 2013 divorce.

In early 2016 she attended a fashion show in Paris with 30-year-old British violinist Charlie Siem, and in July she told US Vogue she was keen to meet men because, “why not? Am I supposed to be shy?”

Deng was also linked to Putin, despite telling Vogue she had “never met him”.

“But wow, so much press about it,” she said at the time. “Why did they [the media] choose me?”

Deng was also forced to deny having an affair with former British prime minister Tony Blair, whom many speculated was the cause of her split from Murdoch.

In 2014, US magazine Vanity Fair published a “love note” Deng had allegedly written to herself about Blair, saying she was “missing Tony”.

However, Deng told Vogue Blair and his wife Cherie were “good friends”.

“I could worry about what people say all day long, but it’s not a very productive way of using my energy,” Deng said. “If you ask my friends, they’ll tell you that I don’t complain very much.”

Meanwhile, Murdoch, 85, married supermodel Jerry Hall, 60, in March 2016 – his fourth marriage.
