Why Anthony Bourdain won’t dine with Donald Trump

Celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain has again dished it out on Donald Trump, repeating his vow to never eat with the president-elect.
Bourdain, who has dined with actors, politicians, musicians and even a sitting president, already told US media in April that he would never dine with Mr Trump, based on his policies, particularly those around migration.
But Food & Wine in the US has reported in that at a recent roundtable discussion at foodie getaway in Puerto Rico, Bourdain provided a few more reasons for having zero interest in dining with Mr Trump.
“He likes fast food. He loves Big Macs, though probably a Quarter Pounder would be better for his tiny little f***ing fingers.”
Bourdain repeated his earlier reasoning, sticking the knife into Mr Trump’s migration policies and views, specifically, on Mexican and Muslim immigrants.
He also raised Mr Trump’s apparent lack of familiarity with non-American cuisine.
“He’s never been seen with chopsticks,” Bourdain said of Mr Trump.
“He hates people who come from outside of the United States. Imagine him at a Chinese State Dinner trying to handle chopsticks.”
“Well done steak,” he added in exasperation.
The author and food-TV host made headlines in May when he dined with President Barack Obama in a Vietnamese street eatery.
