One Direction band member Louis Tomlinson is going to be a dad at the age of 23.

People magazine is reporting Tomlinson’s ex-girlfriend, stylist Briana Jungwirth, is pregnant with his child.

The pair first met through mutual friends and dated briefly before breaking up, but reportedly remain friends.

“Louis and Briana care about each other very much and have spent a lot of time together privately over the last few months,” an unidentified friend of Jungwirth’s told People.

“They are both really happy and although they aren’t in a relationship, their friendship is extremely strong, and they are both really excited about the baby.”

Jungwirth, 23, is currently living in Los Angeles. Tomlinson is reportedly looking to buy a home there in order to be closer to the child.

In a strange twist of fate, Tomlinson joked about being a father in an April Fool’s tweet way back in 2012.

“Can’t believe I’m going to be a Dad! Wow!!” he wrote to his 19 million followers.

One Direction fans are up in arms over the news, demanding answers from Tomlinson himself on Twitter.
