Reports are surfacing that Bo Phillips, the brother of TV presenter Lauren Phillips, was allegedly punched by a well-known actor at a Logies after-party on Sunday night.

The Herald Sun reported the incident, which occurred at Shane Warne’s nightclub Club 23 around 3.30am, was an “unprovoked attack” witnessed by a number of high-profile members of the television industry.

According to the newspaper, paramedics were called to attend to a “collapsed” man in the early hours of Sunday morning, only to be told they were no longer required on arrival.

Phillips apparently made his own way to the emergency department a short while later, and is now resting in bed.

Each of the commercial networks throw their own Logies after party, with Channel Nine behind Sunday night’s notorious Club 23 bash.

Unlike the other parties, there was a total media ban at Club 23, where celebrities were said to be letting their hair down after the particularly long broadcast.

There was also a ban on any talent from rival networks attending, leading many to believe the punch perpetrator was attached to Channel Nine.

Waleed Aly was the big winner earlier in the evening, taking home the prestigious Gold Logie, while hall of fame inductee Noni Hazelhurst made waves with her politically charged acceptance speech.

The identity of the assailant has not been revealed, although investigations are continuing.
