Kensington Palace officials have released a series of photos of Princess Charlotte, taken by her mother the Duchess of Cambridge, to mark her first birthday.

Kensington Palace said the Duke and Duchess were “delighted” to share the photos ahead of Princess Charlotte’s birthday on May 2.

“The Duke and Duchess are very happy to be able to share these important family moments, ahead of their daughter’s first birthday,” the royal family said in a statement.

“We hope that everyone enjoys these lovely photos as much as we do.”
