Matt LeBlanc almost killed a Top Gear staffer
New Top Gear host Matt LeBlanc has been described as “shaken” after nearly running over a cameraman on the rev-head TV show.
LeBlanc, one of the co-hosts to take over after the departure of Jeremy Clarkson, reportedly took a Porche out for a spin during a break in filming without realising a staff member was still on the track.
The cameraman was getting some ground-level shots when LeBlanc came unknowingly speeding towards him, according to The Mirror.

Fortunately, a fellow cameraman noticed what was going on and ran onto the track, waving his arms and causing LeBlanc to slam on the brakes of the pricey vehicle.
According to sources quoted in British newspapers, LeBlanc seemed confused when he got out of the car, and was noticeably shaken by the incident.
The former Friends star apparently asked for some “time out” from shooting, before reappearing a few hours later.
Outlets have been reporting the incident took place in March, when Top Gear was filming scenes on location in South Africa.
Representatives for the show have denied the incident occurred.
Despite the new season not having actually aired a single episode, Top Gear has been attracting controversy lately with a number of mismanaged stunts.
The show was forced to defend its decision to film near the London Cenotaph war memorial after people complained it was insensitive, while LeBlanc also copped criticism after crashing a wedding and performing loud stunts outside a church.
