Shane Warne has drawn derision from viewers after complaining about having to do another ‘tucker test’ on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

The former cricketer, who was bitten on the face by an anaconda on the show last week, became upset when he found out viewers had voted for him to compete in another extreme food test.

The last tucker test Warnie took part in involved eating rat offal, antelope blood and fish guts.

Has Warnie really quit smoking for I’m a Celebrity?

“I don’t want to be here anymore,” said Warnie when told he was headed for another stomach-churning test.

Indicating he might ask to leave the show, Warne argued that his time in the jungle was “supposed to be fun”.

Speaking to fellow contestant, ex-AFL footballer Brendan Fevola, Warne said he was close to asking the producers to let him leave.

Viewers were less sympathetic to Warne’s plight, with many on Twitter pointing to his rumoured $2 million pay cheque.

“That’s why you got paid $2M to do this Warnie. It’s not meant to be fun,” wrote one user.

“Shane Warne, more Shane Whinge,” wrote another. “Warnie’s a sook,” wrote a third.

The ex-cricketer ended up competing in the challenge with singer Anthony Callea, successfully navigating their way down a mine shaft and being awarded 9/10 for the task.

Warne’s appearance on I’m a Celebrity coincided with the closure of his charitable foundation, after an investigation by Fairfax journalists found the Shane Warne Foundation was using up to 86 per cent of its funds on lavish events.
