The Bachelor pair may get married on TV

The Bachelor’s Sam Wood and Snezana Markoski could return to Australian screens, following the announcement of their engagement last week.

On Tuesday, the pair announced their engagement on social media, and it only took six days for rumours surrounding their wedding to surface.

According to News Corp, they could televise their trip to the altar, after returning impressive ratings at the beginning of their romance.

“Nearly 1.9 million Australians tuned in to see Sam declare his love for Snezana and we would welcome the chance to work with the couple again. We wish them every happiness,” a Ten spokesperson told Woman’s Day.

The magazine also claimed the duo will receive a “six-figure paycheck” for the TV deal.

The concept was explored on American television in 2003, following on from the successful reality dating series of the same day.

A three-part special, Trista & Ryan’s Wedding, saw failed-Bachelor-contestant-turned-Bachelorette Trista Sutter marry in California, to a TV viewership of more than 26 million.
