Bachelor Sam Wood is officially off the market.

On Monday, Wood and partner, Snezana Markoski, who found love on reality dating show The Bachelor announced their engagement against the backdrop of a picturesque Tasmanian setting.

The pair, and Markoski’s daughter Eve, were on their first family holiday to Wood’s home state of Tasmania when he proposed.

“She said YES! When you know, you know. I love you Snezana,” Wood posted to his own Instagram account.

It was just two months since they announced their relationship, after meeting on season three of the Channel 10 dating show.

Since the show ended, they have been toughing it out between their homes in Perth and Melbourne, with rumours recently surfacing that their relationship was on the rocks.

Markoski was picked over runner-up Lana Jeavons-Fellows, a late addition to the mansion who quickly became a favourite to win due to her obvious chemistry with Wood.

But when it came to the final moments, it was Markoski that ended up with the $20,000 commitment ring.

“I’ve fallen madly in love with you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Snezana,” Wood told her.

“You make me a better man. I want to spoil you and I want to look after you forever.

“I know it doesn’t mean just looking after you, I know it also means looking after Eve.”
