Sam Frost has told The Bachelorette Australia runner-up Michael Turnbull to “get a grip” after he joked the pair kept in touch behind Frost’s boyfriend’s back.

In a video for Fox Sports, Turnbull joked that he and Frost continued to text each other, without the knowledge of Bachelorette winner Sasha Mielczarek.

In a post to Fox Sports Football’s Facebook page, Turnbull is quoted as saying “I’m not supposed to mention that on camera” when asked if he and Frost text behind Mielczarek’s back.

According to The Daily Mail, Frost took to her own official Facebook page to hit back in a post that has since been deleted.

“Excuse me? Whether it’s said in jest or not, suggesting I’m sneaking around my partner’s back is offensive and disrespectful to both Sasha and myself. Get a grip Turnbull,” Frost wrote.

Fox Sports Football has also deleted its original posts.

Turnbull was a finalist on the popular Network Ten reality dating show, but was eliminated in the finale episode in favour of Mielczarek.

Mielczarek and Frost have been dating since the conclusion of filming on the series.
