The new man in The Bachelorette’s life is…Rove

Sam Frost, star of both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, has announced she will make the move from TV to radio with a new hosting gig on Sydney station 2DayFM.

Frost will join television personality Rove McManus on the ‘Rove & Sam‘ show from Monday November 9.

Why The Bachelorette was way too predictable

The pair will fill the weekday breakfast slot from 6am on the network, which is owned by Southern Cross Austereo.

Despite having limited radio experience, the 26-year-old said she was excited to work with Rove.

“He already makes me laugh so much, and is probably the only man, other than Sash (The Bachelorette winner Sasha Mielczarek), that I’m willing to get out of bed at 4am for,” the reality television star said of her co-host.

The feelings were mutual for McManus, who admitted he was already a fan on Frost’s.

“The first time I met Sam, she laughed one of her trademark snorts and knew everything was going to be ok,” he said.

“She also managed to put up with my hounding about who won The Bachelorette, and still didn’t tell me, despite how much we were hanging out. I’m very pleased that she has accepted my radio rose.”

As for how the new job would affect her relationship with Mielczarek, Frost said she was confident they could make time for each other.

“Sasha is amazing, we were on our publicity tour when it was being pitched and he just said, ‘you should do it!’” Frost told News.com.au.

“It’s good because Sash starts work at 5am, he works early hours, goes to bed early, so I think it will be fine.”
