Sam Frost has said she was “absolutely gutted” when she found out the result of The Bachelorette finale had been leaked before it went to air.

Frost chose contestant Sasha Mielczarek as the show’s winner on Thursday night’s finale, however, a news website spoiled the result for thousands of the program’s diehard fans.

“We’ve worked so hard [to keep the secret],” Frost told KIIS FM on Friday morning.

“There was no curtains [in the hotel room] and we were doing the shoot for the photos that were released today and so someone has tipped someone off and it was awful.”

“Fans on my Instagram were like ‘I don’t even want to watch the show, it’s spoiled’, so many people [were commenting] and I was like ‘what is going on’ and then I checked The Daily Mail and I’m like ‘you’re joking’. They’re not allowed to take photos inside are they?

“We were ten floors up and they’re in a building opposite with a huge lens. It’s really scary.”

Mielczarek said Frost was “hysterical” when she found out about the leak.

“It was so bad. I called Sam up and she was hysterical the poor thing, and the crew and everyone worked so hard and to be spoiled two hours before,” he said.

Channel 10 successfully took out an injunction against the news website that published the offending photos.

On Thursday afternoon, The Daily Mail published the photos, taken of the couple through a window with no blinds while they were in a 10th floor hotel room.

Soon after, Channel 10 won an injunction forcing The Daily Mail to remove the photos of Frost and Mielczarek together, according to News Ltd.

According to reports, the post was live for several hours before being removed.

The injunction was filed with the New South Wales Supreme Court on Thursday evening.

It also said the website was banned from republishing the images.
