Hanks to the rescue! Tom returns student ID

Tom Hanks has some good karma coming his way.
The 59-year-old Oscar winner has been praised after he went the extra mile to return a stranger’s lost ID card on Tuesday.

“Lauren! I found your Student ID in the park,” he tweeted with a photo of the card from Fordham University in New York.
“If you still need it my office will get to you. Hanx.”

It’s likely Hanks felt the need to help Lauren out as he suffered a similar lost and found incident earlier this year.
In March, the actor tweeted that a stranger discovered his credit card in New York and returned it.
“A guy named Tony found my credit card on the street in NYC and returned it!” he wrote. “Tony! You make this city even greater! Thanx. HANX.”
