NSW teen Ellie Drennan, 16, has been crowned the youngest winner of music talent series The Voice Australia.

“I honestly can’t believe I just won! This has been the most amazing experience,” Drennan told News Corp.

Her final performances of Sinead O’Connor’s Nothing Compares to You and a duet of Beyonce’s Halo with her coach Jessie J trumped those of Team Madden’s Moore and Nathan Hawes, 17, and Team Ricky’s finalist Liam Maihi, 23.

“Thank you to all my friends and family and of course Jessie J for supporting me through this and always seeing the best in me.

“Thanks to everyone who voted for me and making this happen. What a ride!”

Her debut album will be released on September 11.
