American radio host Howard Stern has given an insider’s take on the highly secretive surprise marriage ceremony of Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux.

Stern gave a speech and knew about the ceremony in advance, unlike other guests who thought they were attending Theroux’s birthday party, he said on his radio show.

Rather than focus on the couple who’d just wed, Stern spent the speech “whining” on how “miserable” he was, thanks to awkward seats and a no–cell-mobile policy.

“They had these little tiny chairs … like poufs, like little pillow poufs,” Stern said. “I’m a grown man!”

“I don’t want to take a picture of you two [the couple]! I really don’t. I want my cell phone so after I make this speech I can call my car and get the f*** outta here!’”

Stern also spoke about his friendship with Theroux, according to Vanity Fair.

“I’m very friendly with Justin,” Stern explained. “I like him very much … I really admire him.”

“I even said in my speech to them that if one of my daughters brought home a guy like Justin, I’d be very pleased.

“Except for the shitty tattoos, because he’s got some f****** weird ones … And except for the fact that I gave him a journal to draw in and he draws pictures of dead zombie babies with blood dripping out their head on almost every page. I said, ‘Those two things might disturb me.’”

However Stern did give some concessions as to why he was so irritable at the secret wedding in Bel Air.

“I had such a bad attitude,” the radio host added. “I was wrecked … When I went to their wedding, I felt like … death.”

Stern also spoke about how he made a new friend in actor Orlando Bloom and also that Jimmy Kimmel served as the wedding’s civil minister.
