Perhaps speaking for many in news media, a Florida newsreader has stormed off set during a story about a new Kardashian pet.

When told the next story was about the youngest Jenner’s new bunny rabbit, Fox News anchor John Brown had an on-air meltdown.

“I’m having a good Friday so I’m not going to talk about the Kardashians,” yelled Mr Brown as he walked off air.

“You’re leaving me?” asked his co-anchor, before another anchor quickly filled Mr Brown’s place.

“It’s a non-story!” Mr Brown continued to shout from behind the cameras.

“We’re talking about this family every freaking day on this show! Nobody cares about this family anymore! It’s enough!” he yelled.

“It’s Friday! I want to have a good Friday! I don’t want to talk about the Kardashians!”

As he yelled, the entertainment reporter continued to report the news that Kylie Jenner had decided to name her new bunny rabbit ‘Bruce’, her father’s name before she became Caitlyn.

If Mr Brown is as opposed to the world’s most talked about family, he may have chosen the wrong industry to work in.

The Kardashians continue to be some of the most popular celebrities on earth, with Kendall Jenner recently taking the crown for most ‘liked’ Instagram ever – from her half-sister, Kim Kardashian.

In other news, Kim Kardashian’s Instagram following now sits at 42 million – almost twice the population of Australia.
