Changing her physical appearance was an “emotional journey” for US-based Australian rapper Iggy Azalea.

The 25-year-old rapper has long faced rumours she has had plastic surgery, confirming in an interview with Vogue in March she had breast implants late last year.

Fresh questions arose over what appeared to be a new look in May.

Following the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, Us Weekly reported the star appeared to be sporting changes to her chin and nose.

In a new interview with Seventeen magazine, the music artist confirmed rumours she had plastic surgery on her nose were true.

“Plastic surgery is an emotional journey,” Iggy told the magazine.

“It’s no easy feat to live with your flaws and accept yourself—and it’s no easy feat to change yourself.

“Either way you look at it, it’s a tough journey.

“There are things that I didn’t like about myself that I changed through surgery.

“There are other things I dislike but I’ve learned to accept.”

It was the “right choice”, according to Azalea, who says she had researched the surgery before going through with it.

“I read a lot about nose jobs online,” she added.

“Some women are really happy they got them, and some women changed their noses when they were younger, and when they got older they wished they didn’t.”
