Cristiano Ronaldo has had another crack at courting an Australian female and once again his efforts were fruitless.

When he was in town for the International Champions Cup with Real Madrid, the soccer star responded to an Instagram inbox message from Australian model Aline Lima.

The model’s boyfriend is a big fan of Ronaldo and the couple wanted to know if the 30-year-old Portugal international had received a fan message from him.

According to Ms Lima, one thing led to another and Ronaldo ended up propositioning her on messaging service WhatsApp, even though he knew she had a boyfriend.

Ronaldo asked Ms Lima, a former Miss Latina Australia finalist, for photos of her at the gym. When she said no, Ronaldo didn’t give up.

“No one knows, baby. Quiet,” Ronaldo wrote, News Corp report. “I do not show anybody.”

Ms Lima again rejected the advances, to which he answered “Seriously?”

She tried again to see if he would meet her boyfriend, but there was only one thing the goal scoring star wanted.

“Yes, beautiful. But it is difficult. I do not want to know man. I want to meet you,” Ronaldo reportedly wrote to Lima on WhatsApp.

The latest attempt to woo an Aussie beauty comes after Ronaldo was caught out Instagram stalking photos of actress Margot Robbie.

Ronaldo split with his Russian supermodel girlfriend Irina Shayk earlier this year after she accused him of cheating.

Ms Lima has thousands of likes on her Facebook page and more than 5,000 Instagram followers.
