The biggest football star on the planet has been caught red-handed cyber stalking Australia’s favourite silver screen darling.

Over the weekend eagle-eyed fans spotted Real Madrid and Portugal winger Cristiano Ronaldo ‘liking’ a series of Instagram posts by Aussie Wolf of Wall Street actress Margot Robbie.

Ronaldo, 30, recently broke up with model girlfriend Alessa Tedeschi and is in Australia this month for the International Champions Cup in Melbourne.

He’s wasted no time getting familiar with the country’s best local talent, sending her four quick-fire ‘likes’ while browsing her profile.

Unfortunately for Ronaldo, the 25-year-old Suicide Squad actress is dating British assistant director Tom Ackerley.

Ronaldo made headlines earlier this month for a similarly open display of his newly found bachelordom.

While holidaying in Las Vegas he found a lost phone which happened to belong to an attractive young woman.

Ronaldo then insisted on taking the young woman and a group of her friends out on the town to celebrate the safe return of the handset.
