ESPN reporter Britt Henry has been suspended for seven days after she was caught on film insulting a tow park attendant she was paying to get her car back.

The expletive-laden video is full of insulting remarks about the attendant’s education, class and appearance.

“I’m in the news sweetheart, I will f***ing sue this place,” the reporter ranted.

“Do you feel good about your job? So I could be a college dropout and do the same thing? Why, cause I have a brain and you don’t?

“Maybe if I was missing some teeth they would hire me here.”

Throughout the tirade, the attendant was ice cold, not once retaliating, except to warn Henry she was being filmed.

Henry, 28, from New Jersey, has come under intense criticism for the way she handled the situation.

She initially took to Twitter to ask why her car had been impounded and while her initial question was deleted, her reply to the company’s response was still available for viewing.

After the footage surfaced and ESPN suspended the reporter, she again went online to apologise and explain her actions.

As expected, Twitter has been less than supportive of the reporter for her indiscretion.

Surprisingly, the company who employs the attendant who was the target of the rant does not want McHenry fired.

“Parking enforcement is contentious by nature,” the company said in a statement released Friday.

“At the same time, neither Gina, our lot clerk, nor our company, have any interest in seeing Britt McHenry suspended or terminated as a result of her comment.”
