In true diva style, ousted Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has a list of backstage demands that would make Mariah Carey’s rider look modest.

The former presenter – who was sacked by the BBC last week for punching a show producer in a spat over catering requirements – has an extensive three-page rider for Top Gear Live that includes a barrage of booze, Scrabble and a PlayStation 3.

Leaked by the Mail Online, the rider lists specific requirements of the Top Gear trio comprising Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond that includes more than 20 bottles of wine (Veuve Clicquot Champagne, Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc, and Chateau Leoube rosé).

The divas also required 24 bottles of Peroni, Bombay Sapphire gin and a fridge with “at least” four shelves for the green room of the cancelled shows, which were set to take place in Norway from March 29.

Tables, preferably filled with green plants, were to be covered in linen while the room also had to have a sofa bed large enough for six people – “one of whom is 6ft 3in and likes to lie down”.

A Sky TV connection, DVD player, iPod dock and PlayStation 3 with two controllers and a copy of Call of Duty were among other demands.

In a feast fit for a king, the British celebs also ordered lunch and evening meals that included pies, jacket potatoes, pasta and prawn cocktail, alongside jelly babies, Minstrels and a cheese board.

Marmite, peanut butter and HP Sauce were also on the list, as was a green room that had to be within a stone’s throw from McDonald’s.

The rider also included a copy of Scrabble and Pictionary, a coat stand, hair wax, “nice rubbish bins”, and a can of Dove deodorant for men.

The BBC declined to comment, according to the Independent.
