While Blake and Lee started their career as the hosts of the same slot between 2005 and 2010, they have garnered an enormous audience from their Gap Year TV series on the Nine Network, the most recent of which saw then head to South America.

The South American adventure scored the boys a top 10 ratings spot each week for the six-episode season.

“We’re so stoked to be jumping into the drive slot, it’s something we’ve always wanted to do,” the pair said in a statement.

Blake and Lee will replace former Getaway reporter Jules Lund, who was hosting the 2Day FM breakfast show in Sydney with Sophie Monk and Merrick Watts.
