Bullock’s terrifying stalker encounter

New details have emerged in Sandra Bullock’s case against stalker Joshua Corbett, who invaded the actress’ Los Angeles home last month.

A police search warrant obtained by TMZ details the morning Bullock came face-to-face with Corbett.

The 49-year-old heard loud banging noises inside her US$16 million mansion before she found Corbett waiting for her in the hallway, dressed head-to-toe in dark clothing.

Bullock responded by shutting and locking her bedroom door and immediately calling police. She had reportedly showered before retiring for bed and feared that 39-year-old Corbett had been in her home the entire time.

When police arrived to take him away, Corbett allegedly screamed out to the actress, saying “Sandy, I’m sorry. Please don’t press charges”.

At the time Corbett was allegedly carrying a scrapbook of cut-outs and images featuring Bullock as well as handwritten notes to the Oscar-winner.

One note reportedly read: “I will forever be thinking of you and Louie, my son, as you are my wife by law, the law of God and you belong to me and me to you.”

Bullock has a four-year-old adopted son named Louie, who was allegedly with a nanny at the time of the incident.

According to Us Weekly, the District Attorney’s Office announced in June that Corbett would be charged with burglary and stalking, along with 19 felony counts for possessing weapons. If convicted, he faces more than 12 years behind bars.
